God’s Call
Our Beginning – Bishop Victor Pierson
I heard the Lord’s Call on December of 1988, the Lord helped me cross over to the Lovdale area of
Ooty, Nilgiri District, Tamil Nadu, India.
I rented a room and worked for one and a half years, and suddenly I had to vacate.
The Lord helped me clean the cowshed and serve for nine months in a cowshed where houses were unavailable.
The Lord helped me move to a different place and serve for six years. I began to grow the ministry. For the first time, the souls accepted Jesus. For the first
time, we held a meeting called the Good News Meeting. Through it, many souls came to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
We surrendered and waited, saying that if God who called is faithful, you will lead, and then in my ears, a sound that your eyes will see did not touch my love.
Again, a voice came to my ears: Deut.
I heard the word of the Lord again in my ears for one day, and I subdued all your enemies. Even now, I declare to you that the Lord will build
you a house. We thanked the Lord for the promise, left that place, and saw another place before my eyes. The place belongs to another person; we prayed at that
place, and the Lord gave us the grace to buy the same place.
All the members of the congregation came together, and the Lord dared to build a
Life and Light Assembly Church at that place in the year 2000 and completed it in December 2000.
